Hello there! We are Pine Cone, Nutmeg, and Cranberry. We are gentle souls. Now, how did we end up here, you ask? Well, it's quite a tale! We were on a mission, you see. A mission to find us some Cruzan breakfast. My siblings and I got a little too enthusiastic, and we ended up here at the shelter. We're not upset though, we've made lots of friends! But we still dream of tasting such a delicacy. Maybe you could help us? We promise, we are the most fun-loving foodie enthusiast you'll ever meet!

Come meet our adorable adoptable dogs and cats at our adoption center, The Pet Place! It is located on Northside Road in Princesse, next door to Food Town market. Open six days each week, Monday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. 340-725-7387.

The mission of the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center is to provide and promote the humane treatment of animals on the island of St. Croix through humane education, animal protection and community service. Founded in 1973, the AWC is the only animal shelter on St. Croix. The AWC takes in and cares for more than 3,000 unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats each year. Our longtime facility was destroyed in Hurricane Maria in 2017; we are now located in two temporary locations in the LaGrande Princesse area of St .Croix.
