My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Farrah, The absolutely stunning 3 month old calico! Allow is to tell you a little bit about Farrah to convince you to run and place that application!

Farrah joined our rescue at 3 weeks old, straight off of the euthanasia list from ACCT Philly. She was abandoned by her mother, surrendered to the shelter and came to us to make her future a possibility! Despite her rough past, Farrah has grown up to be such a fabulous little girl! She's the epitome of sweetness, offering friendly purrs and gentle nuzzles to everyone she meets. Farrah's mellow demeanor makes her a perfect companion for both quiet nights in and playful afternoons. Her cuddly nature will melt your heart as she snuggles up close, seeking warmth and affection. Farrah's loyalty knows no bounds; she'll be your unwavering friend, always there to brighten your day. Her playful antics will bring joy and laughter into your life, making every moment with her a cherished memory. Farrah enjoys being by your side at any moment you'll allow her. She is a girl who absolutely loves bedtime and will nuzzle and snuggle as close to you as she possibly can. On top of her snuggly and mellow behavior, she is also a feen for toys! She loves to play, especially with her sister from another mister, Faucet.

Adopting Farrah is not just about giving a kitten a home, it's about inviting boundless love, joy, and companionship into your life. Farrah is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, fecal tested negative, and completely healthy. He is litter box trained, friendly with cats (We Have preference to applications who will adopt Farrah WITH Faucet), likely children friendly if the children are respectful towards animal boundaries, and unknown how he would react around dogs

Additional adoption info

The time it takes to process an application largely depends on the speed at which we are able to contact personal references. If approved, we go over an adoption contract that the adopter will sign, and it is at this time that an adoption fee is required. If an adoption does not work out for any reason, our adoption contract requires that the kitty be returned to Furrever Friends Rescue and Volunteers, Inc.

More about this rescue

We are a foster-based no-kill cat rescue that is working to better the lives of cats in Gloucester and Camden Counties. We do not euthanize any of the animals in our care simply to make room for new ones. Although our operation is small, each and every homeless pet in our program receives the absolute best care possible until a furrever home can be found.
We are small... but mighty. Every animal saved is a victory.
Furrever Friends Rescue and Volunteers, Inc. (FFRV) is an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that strives to save the lives of homeless animals.

Furrever Friends operates entirely on donations from caring individuals such as yourself. And, because Furrever Friends is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your cash donations are tax-deductible. Checks can be made out to "Furrever Friends."

Our volunteers work hard to:
-Provide safe, loving care in foster homes until a furrever family can be found.
-Spay/neuter and vaccinate pets prior to adoption to help control the pet overpopulation problem.
-Find new Furrever Homes for animals only after carefully screening potential adopters.
-Raise funds through special events and projects to cover veterinary and food costs.
-Fund emergency medical care to injured or abused animals in the FFRV program through "Geronimo's Fund".
-Showcase homeless animals at various venues to help find them homes, including our PetSmart Adoption Center in Deptford, NJ.
