My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you her new family?  Please fill out our adoption application at:
http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24721/generic

Over the past almost 2 years the numbers of local surrenders has skyrocketed. For example, Marley and her Puppy from last summer were both local surrenders. Both needed to be fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and cared for before going to their forever homes. People like us open our homes for them, but the rescue provides their food and crates and anything else they need. The expenses add up. Adoption fees don’t begin to cover the costs for some of these dogs. We do our part by providing a loving temporary home, socializing the dogs, getting to know their behaviors, etc. (by the way, we do it voluntarily, w no compensation). But we do see the money spent on all these dogs before they can even meet their potential family. So for all my animal loving friends out there…if you could be so kind, and make a donation, $5, $10 (or more) to help raise funds for Survivors Paws Animal Rescue Inc so they can continue to feed, treat, and adopt out these beautiful dogs, We would greatly appreciate it!  There are many more dogs waiting for their turn to be adopted.

Over average it costs Survivor's Paws between $900.00 to $1.200.00 on average to save local dogs.  Spay and neuter clinics for dogs in the Upper Valley are slim and booking out months down the road.  We can't keep a dog in foster for 6 to 9 months waiting for a spay/neuter clinic to have space so we have to use our local vets.  Our adoption fees do not even cover our bet bills.

Please SHARE,  donate, foster, volunteer and adopt.

More about this rescue

Adopt Local!!
Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue has been started to rescue dogs and cats from kill shelters. Survivor was an incredible pitbull that was saved from a NYC kill shelter. Survivor was the dog, that went on home visits, temper tested dogs, even found a lost puppy that had been missing for 4 days at Christmas time. Survivor was a 3 year old emaciated dog that was dumped by his original owner weighing only 32lbs. Survivor was on death row. Survivor was saved. His love of life, all critters both 2 or 4 legged kinds was the best. He was an ambassador for pitbulls everywhere.
Spay and neuter. Rescue from kill shelters.
