Hoss is the epitome of a gentle giant, he's got the sweetest eyes and a stunning brindle coat, he's as handsome as they come! He’s a big softie at heart, absolutely loving to be close to his people and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. Hoss thrives on cuddles, and scratches in all the right places (he’ll happily let you know when you’ve found his sweet spot)! Whether he's resting his head on your lap or leaning into you for some extra affection, Hoss is happiest when he’s surrounded by the warmth of his favorite humans. When he's not right by your feet Hoss loves a game of fetch! His loyal and loving nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a dog that’s not only strikingly handsome but also a true cuddle bug. If you're looking for a dog who will always want to be near you, giving and receiving love, Hoss is your guy!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
