Meet Lass, the one-year-old canine darling who’s ready to become your calm and steady counterpart—assuming you’re willing to pay her in cheese or whatever delectable treats you have lying around. Yes, you read that right! For the low, low price of a few snackables, this furry friend will happily trade snuggles and companionship!

Lass is the perfect size for everything! Nice long walks where she can impress you with her lovely manners or hanging out inside and snuggling up perfectly beside you. Whether you're binge-watching your favorite show or just strolling around the block, Lass is here to remind you that sometimes all you need is a dog by your side and a stash of cheese in your pocket. So why not make this charming pooch part of your life? Your couch (and cheese stash) will thank you!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
