My name is Happy!

Happy's owner (my mom) passed away in 2021. My Dad's health has declined and can no longer care for her. We have had her for over a month in my home and she is not doing well. Happy has severe (non aggressive) fear of people. Mom was the only person she trusted. After mom passed Happy eventually warmed up to my Sister and I but no one else.

In my home, many friends and family come and go and Happy is traumatized by it all. I am hoping there is a home out there for her where she will feel safe.

Since Happy had warmed up to Sister and I we believe she is most inclined to gain trust in Women rather than Men. Along with her trusting in me, she has developed a possessiveness and jealousy towards my dog and fights have occurred. She is good socially around other dogs though so perhaps a multi-dog family would work.
