Happy Holidays! My name is DayZ (pronounced Daisy) and I’m a resilient and sweet 3-4yr female German Shepherd. I am located near Memphis TN and will be available for transport.
I was dumped on the streets of Memphis after being used as a breeding dog. I was severely underweight and very neglected. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, now my foster dad, he rescued me & nursed me back to health!
Quick Facts:
Age - 3-4yr old
Home - ideally a home with a fenced in yard, no apartment or condo
Kids - Good with kids (7+)
Dogs - Good with large males
Cats - NO cats
1. Despite being dumped on the streets, I have SOO much love to give! I’m affectionate, sweet, and resilient.
2. I am great with other dogs! In my video you can see me interacting with several. I hope you have a nice pup in your home for me to play with!
3. I’m house trained and don’t have to be in a kennel!
4. I love to lounge on my comfy dog bed & chew a yummy bone. I also love to run & play in the yard!
5. Like all good pups, I want to get a PHD in Obedience Training. I’m super smart and will learn anything you can teach me. Will you paw-promise to train me?

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
