My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scarlet: Your Friendly Gentle Giant
Introducing Scarlet, a beautiful white and brown charmer whose personality is as warm and welcoming as a summer afternoon! At 3 and a half years old, this large-breed sweetheart has perfected the art of making everyone feel like her best friend.
Scarlet's friendly nature is her standout quality. She approaches life with a wagging tail and an open heart, ready to share her love with anyone who crosses her path. Despite her impressive size, she has a gentle way about her that puts everyone at ease.
This lovely lady has reached the perfect age where she combines the energy for fun activities with the maturity to be a reliable companion. Her welcoming disposition makes her a natural fit for families, couples, or individuals looking for a devoted friend who brings joy to every interaction.
At her core, Scarlet is simply great company - the kind of dog who makes everyday moments feel special just by being herself. Her combination of size and sweetness makes her a gentle giant who's sure to capture hearts wherever she goes.
Are you ready to welcome this friendly soul into your life? Come meet Scarlet and discover the joy of having a big dog with an even bigger heart!

More about this rescue

PAWS Columbus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent overpopulation and suffering of companion animals, to teach kindness and responsibility toward them, and to promote the remarkable capacity of pets to enrich human lives through pet-assisted therapy programs. We work in partnership with the City of Columbus to enhance and supplement the services offered by Animal Care and Control, reduce the need for euthanasia of unwanted animals because of severe pet overpopulation and find a loving and compatible forever home for every adoptable animal. PAWS is supported by private contributions from the citizens of our community. We are People Helping Animals, Animals Helping People.
