Peony was trapped in July along with her four siblings.
She is playful and curious. She purrs loudly as we approach her crate with treats. She loves getting her back scratched. She adores our other cats and purrs even louder when they are nearby. She cries for human attention and love. She has a bit of stranger danger and can be shy. She warms up quickly with treats or churo.

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
