Hello, I'm Cardi! Despite my endearing nature, I often go unnoticed. I've been a part of the Pet Savers family for about 2 years now. I'm a delightful female beagle/staffy mix who joined Pet Savers after my previous family moved away. I'm approximately 3.5 years old and weigh around 70 pounds. Over time, I've cared for numerous puppies and established great relationships with both kids and fellow dogs. At Pet Savers, I'm known for nurturing newcomers.

I'm a warm-hearted canine who relishes in greeting everyone who enters. I'm all about affection – I even roll onto my back for belly rubs. Seeking attention and spreading love are my specialties. On top of that, I'm an excellent traveler, well-behaved on a leash, and my vaccinations are completely up to date.

Additional adoption info

Due to the current situation we are no longer allowing casual visits to the shelter. You will need to submit an application with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting via email. Please visit our website www.petsaversshreveport.org to download an adoption application. Applications can be emailed back to us at petsavers@petsaversshreveport.org

Adoption fees for dogs range from $100-$250. All pets come fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (for dogs).

The shelter is open seven days a week from 12pm to 4pm
Casual visits are no longer allowed. You will need to submit an application via email with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting.

Monthly Events:
Petsmart Adoption Days have been suspended until further notice.
Adoption Day at Petsmart on 7061 Youree Dr., Shreveport
Every 3rd & 4th Saturday of the month from 11am to 3pm

Pet Savers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2005 and located in Northwest Louisiana. Our mission is to rescue, protect, and place abandoned or unwanted pets and provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care.

Our precious rescues are cared for 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a special group of dedicated staff and volunteers.
