Hello, my name is Buffy! If you ask my foster mom, she’ll tell you I am the sweetest most lovable furbaby around! She says I have the prettiest brown eyes! And just loves how I tilt my head when she talks to me! And I just LOVE everyone! From my canine foster brother, Pumba, to my Foster mom’s grand daughters, and everyone in between! I love wrestling with Pumba and running through the snow! My foster mom says I run and leap like a gazelle! I have to, just keep up with Pumba who’s like a little Jack rabbit!!! We run around until we’re both exhausted and ready for a nap!

I go in my crate without a problem, for naps and overnight and never make a sound! That’s something I’m really good about! I am also learning to go potty outside and doing pretty well!

And here’s another cool thing I can do, I can sit and stay (most times) when I’m waiting for my meals! I can’t tell you how hard that is because I’m a growing girl and always hungry! If you find yourself in need of a beautiful, precious, loveable, adorable, sweet, darling, brown eyed furbaby, I just may be the perfect fit! DOG ADOPTION FEES
*Puppies under 6 months old (not including pure breeds) - $275 (+ $50 training deposit)
*Large breeds over 6 months old (over 20 pounds) – $225
*Small breeds & Designer dogs over 6 months old (under 20 pounds) – $275
*All pure breeds, any age, with or without papers – $325
*’Pit Bulls’ & ‘Pit Bull Mixes’ – $175 (+ $50 training deposit)
*Special needs, senior dogs & ‘Bully Breeds’ may have a reduced fee

CAT ADOPTION FEES
*Kittens under 6 months old & under – $100
*Kittens & Cats 6 months to 3 years old – $50
*Cats over 3 years old to 7 years old – $35
*Seniors over 7 years old – Fee waived in lieu of a donation
*Special needs cats may have a reduced or waived fee

The Adoption process:
*Submit your online adoption application
* If you already have pets in your home, they must be up to date on their vaccinations.
*Once the reference & vet checks are complete and approved, we will be in contact to schedule a home visit and/or meet & greet with the animal you are interested in. All members of the family including any current pets must be present.
*Based on your references, home visit and meet & greet, we will approve or deny your application to adopt or recommend a different animal who may be a better fit for your home.
*If approved, we will set up a date for you to adopt your new companion animal. If an animal is not yet spayed/neutered, we will set up your adoption for a time after they have been altered. We will not adopt out any animal until they have been spayed/neutered unless the animal is determined, by our veterinarian, unable to be spayed/neutered due to a medical condition or that it would be a danger to their well being.

Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. Animal Rescue
is an all breed, volunteer driven, 501(c)(3) non- profit organization dedicated primarily, but not limited to, the facilitation of placement of homeless animals the Buffalo, NY & surrounding area shelters/animal control facilities. We provide safe foster homes, needed veterinary care, balanced training, socialization and support to develop a well adjusted family companion. Through a screened adoption process, the companion animals will be placed in compatible, permanent homes. Serving our community and local pet owners as a resource, we provide information on the importance of population reduction through spay/neuter programs and microchipping pets.
