Immaculata is looking for a Christmas miracle. She came to us happy and sort of healthy. At least much healthier than she is now after two weeks in the shelter. Immaculata is so crusty. She is struggling to breathe and losing weight even though she is still sort of eating. Immaculata needs a foster home to recover in. The shelter ick really affects some dogs quickly and unlucky for Immaculata, she is one of those dogs. We want to get her noticed and out with a rescue before staff makes her urgent.
Came in as a stray on 12/3/24.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
