My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Besa was a victim of cruelty and neglect. She needs an experienced cat lover who will let her come around on her own time.

If you are interested in her story or if you are that patient person who can offer her a foster home, please fill out our application at linktree nyctfa. You can also email kukahm@gmail.com

She also has big mitts - extra toes on all four paws.

More about this rescue

I started NYC Teens for Animals when I was 12 years old as a way to inspire people to volunteer for rescues. As a volunteer myself, I wanted to post the animals I worked with through photography and videos to help them find homes and to raise money for their veterinary care.

NYC Teens for Animals is now a small, foster-based non-profit organization. My goals remain the same - to get homeless animals adopted into loving families.

We raise money for vet care, which is our first priority. We also encourage people to learn about TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) to ensure that the community cats lead healthier lives and to curb overpopulation.

I'm always looking for new volunteers and foster homes!
