Princess Porkchop was battling an open pyometra infection—a life-threatening condition—but thanks to an emergency spay and lots of antibiotics, she’s now on the road to recovery and feeling much better.

Right now, we’re still getting to know her personality, but one thing is clear: she’s a queen who knows what she wants. Princess Porkchop seems to be the “large and in charge” type, preferring her space and accepting affection on her terms. She’s open to a gentle head pat or a chin scratch now and then, but she’s not overly affectionate—at least not yet. We’re confident that once she’s fully recovered and settled into the comfort of a loving home, her true personality will shine.
