Good in the car: Yes. He does not get car sick and travels well with a seatbelt safety leash.
Good on a leash: Yes, loves going for walks with his foster dog friend. He uses a prong collar and is a gentleman when walking. He does not bark or pull when he sees people, bikes and other dogs. He needs to be always leashed when walking outside as he will cross the street to see a friendly dog or human.
Energy level: Low to Medium. He does have daily zoomies and loves to tear apart stuffed toys.
Need a fenced in yard: No. He loves his daily walks and has no problem going to the bathroom on a leash.
Dog Friendly: Yes, currently fostered with a 12 yo female lab mix. Olaf will need a slow introduction with large barking dogs.
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No
Cat Friendly: Olaf has been with a cat in his foster home, and he was interested but never tried to hurt them.
Kid Friendly: Yes. He has met multiple kids of all ages and loves them.
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age with supervision as he does love to play with his ball.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Olaf is a very sweet dog who loves his people. Besides not liking the crate during the day when he knows you are home, he is a super easy-going constant tail wagging dog. Olaf is a velcro dog who will follow you throughout the house. His short legs do not stop him from his mission of keeping up with his human. Once you sit down, he will lay next to you on the sofa or put his head in your lap. He acts his age, knows his basic commands and is no problem at all when he is out of his crate. His demeanor is calm and relaxed, but he also has a playful side that comes out when he sees a ball, stuffed toy or bone. Olaf will make an amazing family pet in his forever home.
