My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Cole is the next of several Heeler Mix pups that came into our rescue recently. The pups (DOB 9/26/24) were recently surrendered from a local family and will be ready for adoption after this coming Tuesday, 12/10.

Cole is about 12 lbs and is an energetic boy who will play with his friends until he crashes!

LOVES being outside
LOVES his people
LOVES play time with other doggie friends but can get a bit sassy
Enjoys snuggles after play time is over
Working hard on crate training
Working hard on potty training but will benefit from a consistent routine
Enjoys playing with his older human brother but, true to his age and breed, he can be mouthy at times. He has been easily corrected but this may required some continued work as he grows.
With proper introductions he’s expected to be good with cats

If interested in one of our great dogs, please email us for an application. Once the application is returned and processed, we set up private meet and greets with approved adopters. Our adoption fee is generally $200.

New Leash on Life Dog Rescue is a foster based dog rescue that takes in dogs from local owner surrenders as well as rescues dogs from high kill shelters in other states. We also work with local shelters when they have a dog who is just not doing well in a shelter environment. We are an all breed rescue and we have dogs of all shapes and sizes. We rescue dogs who are need medical attention as well as those who are healthy and just looking for a great family.
