Meet Penelope. I’m a gentle, loving young lady with a beautiful tortoiseshell coat, who was born in late August 2024.
I believe there is no better place than to be snuggled up next to you and taking-in all of the cuddling. I’ll let you know how happy I am by leaning into you and turning on the purrs as if to say “I've found my place”. Whether you’re relaxing on a couch or wandering around, I’ll be interested in what you’re doing and sharing some time with you. And a good belly rub while I’m on my back … how could life be better!
I also have an adventurous side! I’m holding onto some Tomboy. Show me a wand, a ball or a moving toy and I have to check that out! I might also have to investigate the new things that arrive.
Penelope brings energy and a natural spark to everything that she does! A sweetie at heart, she’ll share her warmth with you as your loyal companion. She is being fostered with her sister, Petunia. They are of similar character and quite like each other, so they could easily be adopted as a bonded pair.
All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply!

Feral Fixers is dedicated to the Trap, Neuter & Return (TNR) of feral cats within DuPage county. As part of our mission, we also rescue friendly cats and kittens that have been abandoned outside. We socialize and provide medical care to these kitties in our foster homes, and then make them available for adoption.
Come meet some of the adoptable cats below at one of our upcoming weekend Adoption Events! No application is required to attend, but we encourage you to apply online in advance to get pre-approved with the Adoption Questionnaire linked above.
