This helps Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Rip is a handsome, happy Belgian Malinois who is great with other dogs and friendly with people. He has spent the last two years on a working ranch after his mom suddenly passed away and a kind lady took him and his sister in so they wouldn't end up in the local high risk shelter. The woman who saved him has tried to find a forever family for him, but the ranching community of North Dakota is not an area with lot of interest in Dutch Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, so she asked MAD to find this wonderful guy his forever home.
Rip has some basic obedience down, walks great on a leash and is great in the crate. He also loves hanging out on the couch, snuggling with his favorite person. While treated with great kindness and love, Rip has not received the exercise, stimulation and play time that he needs to thrive. Running a large ranch does not leave the woman who saved him any time to meet Rip's needs beyond the basics of food, shelter and affection. Rip will thrive with an owner who has the time to provide him with toys, balls, training and stiumlation to bring out his full potential.
Rip was purchased from a breeder by his original owner, and has a solid understanding of basic obedience but needs work on duration. He walks well on a leash and is wonderful in the house. He is crate trained and loves a good couch!
All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription.
