My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a tiny 5 lb. Chihuahua. He is very sweet but very shy with strangers and other dogs that are more than 30 lbs. He is skittish and prefers to stay in his kennel even though the door is wide open and he is free to roam. He will require some time and a lot of patience in order for him to relax and become less frightened. He is getting better with housebreaking. He loves to cuddle and will make a wonderful companion. Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are $225 for dogs over 6 months and $250 for dogs 6 months and younger. This fee includes spay/neuter, rabies shot if dog is over 4 months old, parvo/distemper shots up to the time of adoption, fecal check, microchip, and all dogs are heartworm negative.

Rover Rescue is an all-breed dog rescue group located 40 miles west of Chicago in Aurora, IL. The dogs/puppies in our organization have been rescued from high-kill animal shelters located in Illinois and Indiana.
