Hi! My name is Snoopy. My approximate date of birth was 7/6/2021. I enjoy going for car rides with my foster parents and being with them as much as I can. My favorite spot is either on the couch laying next to them or in the bed. I do not love going in my crate, because it means I will be by myself for a little bit. I have some separation anxiety and bark or whine when left in my crate but I eventually self soothe and take a nap. I get the zoomies when my humans are home from work to play with me.
Games I love to play are keep away and fetch. I have a favorite toy that I play with, Lambchop. She is the best! I bring her everywhere. I also play and get along with other dogs really well once we meet each other. I would do best in a home with another dog to play with and a home with a backyard where I can run around. I am potty trained and have not had any accidents in the house.
I am part cat. I love to jump on the highest point I can and I am very vocal. I bark a lot outside and get overstimulated by smells, cars, people and other animals, so trying to redirect my attention can be a little challenging. My foster parents are working with me on this as well as pulling when on walks. I love leading on walks. Sometimes when I see something but don’t want to bark fully, I grumble. My foster mom jokes that I have “Old Man Energy.”
I am pretty good with some commands like “sit,” “stay”, and “Ok go get it”. I am working on “down” and “shake”. I love chew treats but I tend to eat them very quickly. I also do really well with going into unfamiliar homes.
I am looking for a furever home where I can continue to learn and thrive! I would make a great addition to a family this holiday season! Reach out to learn more about me!
