My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nugget is a 13 pound chihuahua lovebug. All he wants is to be with his humans, especially his kids. He absolutely loves belly rubs and cuddles on the couch. He is also playful and enjoys toys if he finds the right one. Nugget is great with other dogs. He currently lives with both large and small breeds and does well with both. He enjoys going on walks, but is still new to this and sometimes needs some coaxing to keep going, but is doing better and better every day. Nugget seems to be fully potty trained and will go to the door if he needs to go out. This little guy is so friendly and would make a great addition to any family. Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are $225 for dogs over 6 months and $250 for dogs 6 months and younger. This fee includes spay/neuter, rabies shot if dog is over 4 months old, parvo/distemper shots up to the time of adoption, fecal check, microchip, and all dogs are heartworm negative.

Rover Rescue is an all-breed dog rescue group located 40 miles west of Chicago in Aurora, IL. The dogs/puppies in our organization have been rescued from high-kill animal shelters located in Illinois and Indiana.
