Marvin is a loving, handsome cat: loves to be by my side or on my lap while watching TV: purrs and is so gentle tapping my arm to pet him. He is able to jump up on my bed and loves to snuggle. He does not jump on counters or tables. He has a soft squeak meow and will ask for a treat. He was living in Virginia with my daughter and 3 other cats but she moved and could not have cats; so my granddaughter flew from Maine, rented a car, bought 4 travel crates, and took all 4 to Maine. She found a home for one of them, wants to keep another one, hoping to re-home the third, and brought Marvin to me. I knew Marvin when i lived in Virginia and he was my favorite - gentle and older and didn't jump on cabinets, etc. But I'm afraid of falling as many of my friends have. Please help find a home for Marvin - he enjoys his toys and uses the scratching post, litter box, and would be perfect for a family or younger owners.

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times.
