My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy folks, my name is Georgie Girl but my foster mom calls me GiGi. I am a 6-month-old Lab/Hound mix pup, tall and slender, with a pretty & girly look and long floppy ears. I currently weigh 41 lbs and when I was a baby I followed a man home in Harlingen Texas, way down south by the Mexico border. Thankfully he took me in and called 4 Little Paws Rescue who brought me to San Antonio so I could live in a foster home, have some fun, get vaccinated, spayed and chipped, and now find a wonderful forever home!

I am a very sweet and friendly girl who loves to play, loves doggy toys, and has a silly run-hop maneuver I do while romping around with my doggy friends. I’m very playful with healthy youngster energy and joyful howls of happiness while playing. I get along great with everyone, humans young and old, kitty cats, and other dogs. I can easily chill out and hang on the couch beside my people. I’m affectionate and love to be pet and I would be a great family dog. I would love to grow up with some kids!! Nothing upsets me and I share my food and toys easily with everyone. I’m just a happy girl, friendly from the get-go, already housebroken, love walks and car rides and I’m ready to be someone's forever dog. East Coast families, inquire about me today, and let's get this party started!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
