My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is full of puppy energy and very social. She is a “go with the flow” little girl.
Mia loves to play with all her siblings, as well as her foster’s dogs big and small.
Mia loves squeaky toys and toys she can chew on.
She also loves to snuggle but only for awhile if there are other dogs around, she wants to be right in the middle of playtime.
Mia loves to run and chase her little sister darting all over the yard.
She is a big energetic silly puppy that only wants love, attention, food, and lots of playtime. Has a scruffy coat.
Born 7/12/24, mom is Shih Tzu mix and dad traveling man. Up to date on vaccines, micro chipped, health check. Fenced yard needed, good with other dogs and kids. In southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved home. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com

Due to COVID we may ask for pictures of home and yard

Additional adoption info

Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
