My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sorrel would love to find his home. He’d make a great sport dog, as he is extremely driven and is food AND toy motivated! We love training with him. He loves playing fetch and going on walks. He’d be happy to just play outside all day. He’d make an excellent running or hiking partner! Sorrel is high energy, but also loves his relaxing time. He’s a big water dog! He gets along with dogs, but his energy can be a bit much for some dogs. He could benefit from obedience training just to help with his excitement! He loves new people and can get excited, so a home with older children would probably be best for him. Sorrel would just love anyone who will embrace his goofiness and care for him!

More about this shelter

Wynne Friends of Animals came into existence when it learned that the City of Wynne was euthanizing over 800 dogs per year. The city pound was just a dumping place with horrible conditions. Funds were raised and money borrowed to build a new animal shelter which is solely run by donations, grants, etc. Since the opening of this shelter, we have decreased the euthanasia rate by 75 percent. We do it to help God's creatures and for the love of the animals. Our website and our Facebook page have testimonials, additional information, our list of adoptable dogs and more.
