Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Joy and my name is perfect for me because that is exactly what I bring into a home...JOY! I am just a little gal right now, but I may get to be medium to large size one day! I am pretty easy going overall, so a home with other dogs or a home where I am the only one will be great for me! I am not picky, as long as I am somewhere where I am loved, kept busy and treated as the beautiful little queen I am!
I am currently working on potty training, but for my age I am doing extremely well. I only have an accident here and there in the home because it is pretty obvious when I need to go out. I use my tiny little sniffer and just assume if you cannot see me or hear me, I am up to something. You know, typical puppy kind of stuff. I am also teething, so will need lots of chew toys and things to keep me occupied, otherwise I will probably head straight for your shoes! Although I am doing well now, you will need to keep it up with me because I am VERY smart, so will thrive off being trained early and consistently!
I sleep in a kennel at night and am usually good from about 10 PM until 6 AM. However, if I need to go really badly, I will just let you know. I am a pit bull mix, but sometimes I think I am a Husky or a Beagle or something because you should hear my little howl. My humans think it's pretty funny.
If you are looking for a snuggly, loyal, sweet, funny and beautiful little lady, look no further.
Joy is the name, and hopefully going home with you forever is my game!!!

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
