My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lil Dan!!
He is a 4 months old lab mix 26 lbs

This energetic puppy loves to play hard and crashes out even harder! Lil Dan is working on his potty training and scarfing his down his food, he is always hungry and does well training with food as a reward. He plays very well with his foster siblings and listens when they correct him. He likes to play fetch, tug and will even do a little hike and seek.

The best home for Lil Dan will be with someone who is active, likes to go for walks, (or runs when he is old enough) has time to take him out for adventures and offers him all the love he can get. He gets along with people of all ages but will do well in a family setting with lots of action. Because Lil Dan is still a puppy, he will require a ton of training time, he is very smart and will try to outsmart his humans. When he is tired, Lil Dan will put himself to bed in his kennel and will sleep all night long without any problems.

All POSO dogs will come with two free dog training sessions, spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and bloodwork testing

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
