Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Millie is approximately 4-5 years old and has lived with my daughter and I for a year. She came to us as a result of a break up in Millie’s original home, as her owner moved out after rescuing her from an abusive situation. She had been crated all day and/or left outside with little human contact as well as physically abused. She is smart, energetic, loyal, leash trained but aggressive towards other dogs and people especially if her person walks her. I’ve been walking her before dawn so as not to run into people or dogs. She loves my other dog, our cat, and my grandchildren. She is, however, loving in a protective way and doesn’t seek out the children to play with her. She needs an owner who has time to train her and able to let her run and work to keep her mind and body busy. She will bark at people walking by and/or entering our house but settles if spoken to and petted. She is on Apoquel for allergies and is prone to ear infections. She is anxious and the vet sedates her to groom.
