My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

adoption donation : $599

weight 50 lbs

Age: 9 months as of  12/15

Beau and his sister Bonnie are friendly, lively Shepard pups who get long great with everyone they meet. They showed up at a trailer park in a rural part of northern Mississippi when they were young puppies and were taken in by an elderly couple. Sadly, the mom passed away, and the dad is no longer able to care for them and so Wags stepped in to help them find a home.

Beau will make a fabulous family member, he loves to play, but is also great at chilling! He does have some puppy like behavior and needs a little training to learn not to jump up, but he’s  just so excited to see her people! Beau is a smart girl and learns quickly. And he is very loving, she is all tail wags and kisses.

Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.

Additional adoption info

We prefer to do a FaceTime interview and ask for references, personal and Vet. It’s very important to us that an Adopter and the dog are the right fit. We have many wonderful dogs! We want to make sure we facilitate the right dog for the right family.
