Vayda is an 8-year-old mixed breed who is a loving and affectionate companion. She adores people and is quick to shower you with kisses when you approach, making it clear how much she enjoys being around you. While she gets along well with other dogs, she loves spending time with her human family and is especially gentle with children. Vayda enjoys walks, though she prefers shorter ones, and she is a big fan of treats. Although she isn't fond of the crate, she eventually gets comfy, and her infectious smile ensures that everyone who meets her falls in love with her.

Our adoption requirements are as follows:

We encourage that all members of the family come and visit with the animal (especially children). We do not adopt pets as gifts.

Homes that currently own one or more dogs and are looking for another will have to complete a dog meeting to ascertain compatibility.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
