Whiskerloo is a 12 week old sweet, gentle boy who comes with his very own favorite, special toy to accompany him on his next adventure. He is a certified bird watcher and can name all the feathered friends that come to visit by the window, all conveniently going by the name "meow".
Whiskerloo is a happy kitty who enjoys the company of other friendly felines and would benefit greatly from having a 4 pawed companion to show him the ropes of indoor life! Still a shy but curious kitten, he has come a long way and enjoys soft pets and attention. He shows his true self more each day, and we can't wait to see what a little love and time will do for his confidence. He is motivated by food and play, a sure way to his heart for a patient, savvy adopter who will continue to let this handsome boy blossom. He really wants to please, and we know he will make a great addition to a special someone!

*Whiskerloo has an appointment in Providence, Rhode Island for his neuter on December 18, 2024. This appointment is included in the cost of adoption, but the adopter is responsible for getting the cat to/from the appointment (8 am drop off, 2 pm pick up).
We are unable to reschedule this due to the limited availability of low-cost spay/neuter appointments. If you cannot accommodate this appointment, we ask that you consider adopting a kitty that is already spayed/neutered.

Spay & Neuter Disclosure:
To facilitate adoptions and open more foster space, this kitten is being adopted with a spay-neuter adoption agreement. An appointment for services has been scheduled and the adopter will be responsible for transportation and post-surgical care. Appointment information will be provided during the application process and the spay/neuter cost is inclusive of the adoption fee. The adopter is responsible for providing an e-collar and monitoring the incision site for infection. Any post-surgical complications are the responsibility of the adopter and should be treated by the adopter's vet.
If you are unable to accommodate a weekday appointment, we kindly ask that you consider another adoptable cat who is already spayed or neutered.

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
