FIV+ currently. We won't be surprised if these 3 kittens shed the FIV from their mom's antibodies, but currently they test positive. That means they are considered immune compromised. They can live long full length lives, but they should be indoors-only to reduce exposure to illenss. They can live with other cats, without threat of transfer, as long as there is no fighting causing deep and traumatic bite wounds. Sunny is the most outgoing of this litter, runnning for attention the moment their foster mom opens the door. Foggy and Misty take a minute to warm up, but then the purr motors begin and it is all over. They will all climb into your lap for playtime or a nap but are wiggly when they are not ready for snuggle time and you try to pick them up and hold them.
Meet Sunny, Foggy and Misty by applying to adopt and then a meet and greet can be coordinated. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens (under 1 year of age). All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
