My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Urgent!!

Need home or foster for this big sweetie! This is Sam, a large in-tact lab/shepherd mix. He was surrendered to us by a neighbor who is no longer able to care for him, but we are not able to keep him long-term.

We are located in Manor, but can transport him elsewhere in the Austin area if needed in order to find him a suitable home!

He is a super sweet boy. Unsure how he is around other animals or children. He has seen our dogs and cats and seems a bit timid, but this could just be due to a lot of change and an unfamiliar environment!! Would likely be best in a home without children at this time as he is very large and not yet fully trained, so he likes to jump up to show his affection!

Sam walks well on a leash and is house trained. He is very affectionate and smart and is going to be an incredible companion for someone!
