My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hank Williams (his foster family just calls him Hank), a 1.5-year-old Pyrenees/Labrador mix. Hank is a big puppy who is smart, affectionate, friendly, and still a bit clumsy. Hank can sometimes forget how big he is. He loves to be by your side and get gentle ear rubs. Hank has a very sweet, calm personality with a side of puppy fun. His foster dog sibling (resident large Shepard mix) took a little while to get used to Hank as he is eager to play, but Hank is being a good listener and they are working on forming a bond. Hank is getting along well with our resident cat and even allows her to clean him occasionally. Hank is house-trained, goes into his crate without issue, and even sleeps quietly through the night in it. Hank is a bit eager on his leash but only because he is so excited to get out into the world. He listens very well and knows his name, come and sit. Hank would do best with a fenced yard (but not required) or access to a fenced park. He loves to run with and chase other dogs. When alone, Hank is very calm and doesn't bark. He is also very calm when the doorbell rings and greets all with a calm curiosity. He should go to a home without small children due to him, not knowing his size, but is doing very well with our resident elementary-aged child and teenager. Will you be his forever family?
