Socks is 7 yrs old, Main Coon female cat, spayed. No rabies shot for 2 years, otherwise the rest of shots were up to date at that time. Chipped.
This cat is mostly OK but has become territorial to our other cat without provocation, same to wife and I-- who feed her. As the other cat has no such problems, we are happy to just keep the one. Trying to find a home who can better contend with Socks than us.
She mostly just likes to be a house cat though we got her and her brother to be mousers around the farm. He still does; she has gained weight so we have had to restrict her diet somewhat and feed less kibble(very little) and give her raw meat and canned food.
(As to Rabies: Determined that the potential for ill health is worse than potential for getting rabies as there has not hardly been a case of rabies in Minnesota for years-- except in a county 200 miles north, one skunk. No cases of humans contracting rabies or pets that I can find in the last 3 years.)
