My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Makota, a truly one-of-a-kind companion. His sweet nature is infectious, spreading joy wherever he goes. He`s playful too, always ready for a game of fetch or a romp in the park. Makota`s goofiness is his trademark, and it`s impossible not to laugh when he`s around. His friendly demeanor makes him a perfect fit for families or single individuals alike. Makota has a lot of love to give and is eagerly waiting for a forever home where he can share his boundless affection. Why should you adopt Makota? Because every day with him promises to be filled with laughter, love, and endless play.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
