My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Named after your favorite waterbender, Katara is just an all-around awesome dog. Sporting a coat like Tui and La, she is well-rounded in her social skills, training skills, and just like the famed Katara, lives her life to the fullest. She enjoys a good walk and loves an opportunity to crawl into your lap too. Don`t miss out on this one! She`ll be in and out like the next wave!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
