Gangway is a handsome little tabby boy with soft fur and poofy striped tail. If you’re looking for a kitten who purrs nonstop and leans in close for cuddles, you’ve found your match!

When he first arrived, he was a little unsure (who wouldn’t be?), but it didn’t take long for his confident, mellow personality to show. He’s incredibly sweet, always ready for affection, and even flops over to show you his belly—an open invitation for rubs (no tricks here, promise!).

Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
