From Ebbi's foster mom: When my teenaged son named our pregnant foster cat "Rorschach, we decided that all of Rory's kittens would need to be named after other psychoanalysts as well. Ebbi the kitten is named after Hermann Ebbinghaus, a psychologist who pioneered the experimental study of memory, using nonsense syllables to test recall. If you would like to increase your memory skills, bringing a kitten like Ebbi into your home will definitely help. Ebbi is a no-nonsense cat who will not only remind you that owning a pet can give you a sense of purpose and fulfillment, but she will up the game by helping you remember that petting a kitten reduces stress, that having her curl up near you shows her trust and reminds you of comforting things, and that the sound of a purr can relax you, reminding you that happiness and contentment are achievable with a kitten in the house. Ebbi is skilled at all these things, having grown up with four younger kitten siblings in an active foster house. Ebbi is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, flea free and microchipped which will be registered to her new family.
