My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ivy, An Adventurous, One-Eyed Wonder

Ivy is a spunky, one-eyed kitten whose adventurous spirit lights up every room! Rescued with a damaged eye that had to be removed, Ivy hasn’t missed a beat. She approaches life with joyful enthusiasm, endless curiosity, and a goofy sense of humor that will keep you smiling.

Ivy welcomes affection and enjoys people-time and cuddling. She’s also happy to entertain herself when needed. New places and situations may make her cautious at first, but with time, she settles in and finds her confidence.

Ivy is in a foster home with other cats and a gentle dog, and she’d be happiest with a playful, like-minded companion. Finley, her foster brother, would make an ideal friend for her, but they don’t need to go together.

Estimated birth date: 5/12/24.

Ivy is ready to make your home her next big adventure if you’re ready for a unique, spirited, and endlessly entertaining kitty! The first step is to submit our online adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. All adopters must live within 50 miles of Stamford, CT.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cat's in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to announce a new level of partnership with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their brand new facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. Come in and visit some of the Friends of Felines cats and kittens that are waiting for adoption. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8 am Monday through Saturday. Following your visit, should any cat or kitten pique your interest, you can fill out an application (available on-line at www.fofct.org).
