My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. If you are interested in adopting this animal, please do NOT click the Adopt Me button and instead reach out to the current owner directly via the email provided in the profile. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. ***

Charlie (female) we have had in our home for 3 years. We got them together but roughly 6 months difference in bringing her in. She has a gentle, loving temperament. She is also crate trained; house trained. Charlie does get defensive with food and wants to either eat alone or be the first to the bowl. The is always gentle with kids and took treats and toys from our hands without any aggression. When let outside she is a runner. We had a fenced in yard, but she did dig a lot which got her on a tie out with the same access of the yard just safer being hooked on the tie out. Charlie had 2 litters. She was never spayed. All of her puppies were healthy, healthy pregnancies, and very very good mother. If Charlie is inside with us and someone comes over, she does the typical barking and greets people. If she is outside, she will be more protective and bark more towards strangers but not aggressively.
