Must find new home by December18th

This is my son’s dog Shakey. Looking up DOB but she is 9yrs old. My son enlisted in the military three years ago and we relocated to North Carolina. He needed somebody to watch his dog so his older brother watched her for a year and we have watched her for the last year and a half. my son has decided he is going back to school full-time in Syracuse New York, at the end of his enlistment, where we are originally from and is also going to be working 30+ hours a week. In the housing he has been looking at he Iis unable to take his dog back. After the sad, hard decision that the dog would be better off with a caring family, then stuck with him gone all the time we are hoping to relocate his dog with a new family. My other son is special-needs and requires 100% of his care from my husband and I and we are not prepared to take the dog for an indefinite length of time.
