My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a sweet kitten who was found in some bushes and starving. She was found by her foster mom who took her in and has nursed her back to health. Lucy has had her tail amputated. She is learning how to be in a home with another cat and kids. She is still a baby would love to have her own home where she is safe inside and never has to know what it's like to be starving again.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You can view the animals available for adoption on the Audrain Humane Society website or on Facebook at Pet Pals: Audrain Humane Society

When you find an animal you are interested in adopting submit an adoption application. The application will ask for basic information about you and your household, as well as your experience with pet ownership.

If your application is approved, you will be notified and a meet and greet scheduled where the adoption fees will be paid in full and the adoption contract signed.

Take your new pet home! The staff member will provide you with instructions on how to care for your new pet and will answer any questions you have.

Please note that the Audrain Humane Society may require additional steps in the adoption process, such as a home visit or a reference check.
