Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Fiona is a sweet girl and very smart! She has learned so many things since leaving the puppy mill, like going up and down stairs, how to climb the back of the couch to watch the neighborhood and how to give puppy dog eyes to get tasty treats!
Fiona likes to play and socks seem to be a favorite. She likes to whip them around and they smell like foster mom so it is a win win! She loves her canine friends in the house and is learning how to be a dog from them. They have taught her how to roll in smelly things and how to play tag in the yard! They are also showing her what dog beds are made for and how to get on the couch. Fiona likes to sleep in bed with her person at night and cuddle close.
Fiona does not know how to walk on a leash and will require a secure physical fenced yard. She also needs a canine companion to continue her education in how to be a pet.
Fiona's adoption is $315. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps!
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.

We are a licensed foster based rescue. We rescue mostly seniors and special need dogs as these are normally the first to be euthanized in shelters.
Our Mission:
To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted dogs and find the best home for each dog in our care. Our belief is all healthy and treatable dogs, regardless of breed or age, have the right to life, happiness, and love.
