My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kabob, a 10-year-old Blue Tick Hound who was found as a stray on 11/15/24. Kabob is a wonderful companion who is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He’s very friendly and vocal, showcasing the typical hound howling. Kabob enjoys the attention.

Kabob knows how to sit, though he prefers not to do it on hard floors. He is treat-motivated, albeit a bit picky, and takes treats very gently. Kabob has a mild manner and an easy-going nature. When outside, he shows friendly body language and is eager to meet other dogs on the leash.

Staff introduced Kabob to cats and he showed no reaction . When introduced to a kitten , he was equally indifferent, even when a kitten was held close to him. This indicates that Kabob does well with cats.

It`s important to note that Kabob is heartworm positive, but with proper care and treatment, he can lead a healthy life. Kabob is ready to find his forever home where he can share his gentle and friendly nature.
