HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is currently spending time in a foster home. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please email fosterinquiry@arl-iowa.org.
---
- Loves to cuddle on laps and is her foster family's little shadow, especially in the kitchen
- Is just beginning to find her meow - it's adorable!
- Arrived at the ARL very fearful but has made great progress in her foster home; looking for a patient family who will help her continue to gain confidence in her new home and may do well with a cat friend who can show her the ropes
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We have seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We will provide post-adoption resources, including our free cat behavior hotline (515-262-9503, Ext. 311). If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
