My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please say hello to this handsome boy named Archimedes! Archimedes arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own on 11/30 because he got lost on a great adventure to finding his way home. The volunteers describe him as a wonderful dog who is as sweet as pie, cute, energetic and handsome. He is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. He is hoping to find a loving person soon that will continue to take care of him and actually take the time to train him properly to keep him safe in his home and be patient with him. He needs someone that will be there for him in his life EVERYDAY!! He is a very playful pup!! He is super intelligent as he knows how to sit pretty well when asked. He may know more if you would just give him a chance. He is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. He has a lot of energy to burn so an active family would be ideal for Archimedes. Take him on awesome adventures so he can have the best memories ever with the one he has been searching for all of his life--YOU!! He needs you now more than ever! Please help him find his way home! Please make sure you are able to be committed to a young pup, especially a puppy with time, patience, and energy. They are cute and a lot of fun but they are also a lot of work! He is also a breed that will need daily activities and mental stimulation so he does not end up in the shelter ever again. Please make sure you are willing and COMMITTED TO DOING THIS!!

Archimedes is current on vaccines, will be neutered, micro-chipped upon his adoption. He has tested negative for heart worms which is great news! Archimedes is a nice size of 51 pounds and he is just 10 months old. So he is still pretty young. He is more than ready to meet his new family. You will find Archimedes patiently waiting for you in Run 803. Archimedes' ID# is 6571.

You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
