Nimbus has brought tremendous joy to my life over the last few years. He has been emotionally supportive to me through so much. I'm teary eyed as I write this. My husband is a cancer survivor and we thought we'd never have children. We adopted Nimbus to give us the opportunity to nurture together. When we conceived my now 3 year old daughter, Nimbus knew before anyone else did. He started to lay by my belly when I'd sleep at night. Nimbus is loyal, loving, and protective to my daughter and I. After having my daughter he became very aggressive to other cat that has since been safely re-homed to my uncle who lives nearby. Unfortunately he struggles to adjust to new people in the household (visitors, babysitters, other children). He approaches initially with curiosity and not long after begins to express fear vocalizations (hissing, low growl). He has not lunged but I fear the day he might not be able to evade to get to his safe space quick enough. Exploring rehoming is our last resort.
