My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elvira

Age: Born September 2023
Breed: DSH, Brown Tabby
Gender: Female

Elvira would do best in a home where she can get a lot of human attention and/or has another companion cat(s).

Hello, I'm Elvira, your soon-to-be best snuggle buddy! I’m an affectionate and friendly cat who’s mastered the art of cuddling. My favorite place in the whole world is right in your lap, surrounded by love and warmth. I’m not shy about it either—if someone else is in your lap, I’ll happily join in and turn it into a cuddle puddle!

I’m a gentle and nurturing soul, often acting as the “mom” in my foster home. My sister Lydia (also available for adoption see her posting below) and I had kittens just a couple of weeks apart and we co-parented! While I don’t spend much time playing, I enjoy scratching my cardboard post and basking in cozy moments. Petting and brushing are my favorite, and I’ll even rub my face against yours to show you how much I adore you.

I get along great with kids and other cats, and I’m not one to shy away from companionship. In fact, I prefer not to be alone—I’ll let you know with a sweet little howl if I miss you. I’m the perfect 24/7 cuddle buddy for someone who loves affection as much as I do.

If you’re looking for a devoted, lap-loving companion, I’d love to meet you! Let’s arrange a meet-and-greet at the adoption center—I've raised my kittens and now I can’t wait to find my forever home.

Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference.
