Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Gracie has had what appears to be a tough life up to now. She unceremoniously dumped, but the person who witnessed it, took her in right-away and contacted us. We couldn`t say no. She was in terrible condition: matted with fleas, emaciated & ear infections. We have had her treated and groomed and she`s ready to start the best phase of her life. She has an awkward gait, that our vet say is neurological and does not require surgery. She will also be on eye drops for the rest of her life for dry eye.
Her foster says she is an absolute doll and gets very bonded to her person. She would likely do best in quiet, low activity home, without children, and people are home most of the time. She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped . 10 years old, 6.8 lbs

More about this rescue
Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
